“I couldn’t wait to tell people about Joro. My clients and athletes are always asking for protein recommendations and I am super picky! The taste is fantastic, not chalky and I love the added vitamins and BCAAs. I’m very excited about this protein!”

“Taking control of my health and wellness meant being more critical of what I was putting into my body. Lots of trial (and some error) lead me to discovering Joro – a clean, plant based protein with nothing artificial added. Premium fuel for premium output. I'm so glad I found it.”

In 2015, I was 270lbs and on the verge of being diagnosed with type 2 Diabetes. I knew my lifestyle needed to change. By focusing on proper nutrition and regular physical activity, I was able to lose weight, fend off hypertension, and discover a love for endurance sports. Down 80lbs and having several races under my belt, I find immense joy in sharing my journey and helping encourage others to find their inner fitness and become active participants in their daily health and wellness. For many, athletics can seem intimidating but if we keep things simple, transparent, and inviting, we can inspire others to get active and help encourage movement that will bring a lifetime of health and happiness.

In 2021, I added triathlons to my repertoire. I look forward to having Joro along for my future 70.3 adventures and hope to spark the love of sports in others along the way. For now, you will find me swimming, biking, and running throughout the greater Boston area.

“Being plant-based is incredibly important to me and I am so excited that I found Joro! As a plant powered athlete, Joro ticked all the boxes when it comes to an amazing flavor and the smooth texture just by adding it in water! I am happy Joro protein is super easy to add to my day as I drive around bringing yoga to all spaces.”

I started practicing yoga weekly in my university gym as a form of exercise. Having been an avid athlete, I was looking for that same sense of community in yoga. I was introduced to amazing students and a teacher who inspired me to develop a home practice. After I graduated college, I was granted my RYT200 Diploma on March 7, 2021. During some hard times yoga was and continues to be a perfect balance of spiritual, mental and physical healing. One of the reasons I love yoga so much is because every time I am on my mat I am reminded that we are responsible for our own happiness, no matter what is going on in the world around us. Once I taught my first in person yoga class, I wanted to continue bringing yoga to all spaces and share the joy with everyone! I now teach independently at various locations in New England. In my classes I focus on mindful movement and believe wherever you are in your practice, yoga is a perfect way to tune into your body and show yourself some love. I believe yoga is a journey not a destination and encourage people to try yoga so they can feel good, take care and learn more about themselves and others.
